Job summary

Stress Engineering Services (SES) is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to plan, execute, and analyze custom tests in a heavy industrial lab environment in Waller, Texas. You will design fixtures, instrument hardware, collect data, and translate results into actionable insights for clients.

The role requires hands-on testing, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting setting. ITAR qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred or 5+ years of testing/validation experience.
• Experience planning, executing, and documenting engineering tests in lab/industrial environments.
• U.S. Person status under ITAR required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute custom mechanical tests in a laboratory environment.
• Design fixtures and test methods; instrument hardware and collect high-quality data.
