Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Machining, or related field.
• Teaching experience at a community college is preferred.
• Strong lab and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current course content and up-to-date teaching methods.
• Provide students with a course outline and requirements for fulfilling objectives.
• Be responsible for assuring accuracy of course content as defined in the catalogue.
• Meet classes as scheduled and dismiss each class promptly.
• Teach at off-campus locations, if needed.
• Facilitate curriculum development and outreach activities.
• Utilize Excel and Access to develop program data and assessments.
• Engage in professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with Workforce Development and other departments.
