Metropolitan Community College seeks temporary faculty to join the Workforce and Economic Development Division. Instructors will provide high-quality instruction in CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and related shop safety, delivering course content, meeting with students, and entering grades.

The position emphasizes updating curriculum to industry standards and supporting student success in a dynamic academic environment. Employment is contingent on enrollment and departmental needs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Arts, Manufacturing Technology or Engineering Technology.
• Three (3) years work experience in the field.
• Associate's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Arts, Manufacturing Technology or Engineering Technology.
• Five (5) years work experience in the field.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct students in CNC machining, manufacturing processes, blueprint reading, and machine shop safety.
• Develop and maintain curriculum that aligns with current industry standards and workforce needs.
• Demonstrate the setup, operation, and programming of CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment.
• Evaluate student performance through projects, skills assessments, and competency-based evaluations, providing coaching and feedback.
