Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking individuals in Royalton, VT for a Process Technician role with an established precision manufacturing and injection molding company. You will work with sophisticated manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and production issues, perform equipment setups, monitor product quality, and help keep production running smoothly.

The position offers 12-hour night shifts on a rotating 3/4-day schedule with guaranteed overtime.

Are You Good at Fixing Things?

Royalton, VT | $26–$36/hr + Guaranteed Overtime

You may be qualified for a technical career you've never considered.

I'm looking for mechanically inclined people in and around Central Vermont who are good at figuring out how things work — and why they aren't working.

You do not need injection molding experience.

You might currently work as a:

• Auto or diesel mechanic
• HVAC technician
• CNC or machine operator
• Maintenance technician
• Equipment technician
• Field service technician
• Installer
• Electrical or mechanical technician
• Production or manufacturing operator
• Heavy equipment technician

Or maybe your job title doesn't fit neatly into any of those categories.

That's okay.

What matters is whether you're mechanically inclined, comfortable around equipment, good at troubleshooting problems, and interested in learning something new.

What Could You Move Into?

I'm recruiting for a Process Technician position with an established precision manufacturing and injection molding company in Royalton, Vermont.

Process Technicians work with sophisticated manufacturing equipment and automated systems. They troubleshoot mechanical and production problems, make adjustments, perform equipment and job setups, monitor quality, and help keep production running properly.

The manufacturing process can be taught. Mechanical aptitude is much harder to teach.

That's why I'm interested in talking to people outside the industry.

What Does It Pay?

$26–$36/hour depending on your experience and transferable skills.

The schedule includes 8 hours of guaranteed overtime each week at time-and-a-half.

At $30/hour, for example, that works out to approximately $81,000/year based on the regular 48-hour schedule.

The Schedule

These are 12-hour night shifts on a rotating 3/4-day schedule.

B Shift: Sunday–Tuesday + every other Wednesday, 6PM–6AM

D Shift: Thursday–Saturday + every other Wednesday, 6PM–6AM

That schedule isn't for everybody — and I'm not going to pretend it is.

But it also means you're working only 3 or 4 days each week while receiving 8 hours of guaranteed weekly overtime.
