Job summary

AMD Distribution, part of the Installed Building Products family, is seeking a skilled technician in Spring Valley, MN to build and maintain spray foam rigs and support our fleet of trucks and trailers and other equipment. The ideal candidate will have basic tools and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Join a team that prioritizes hands-on problem solving and safety. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, keep detailed maintenance records, and collaborate with others.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Own basic tools.
• Welding skills are a plus.
• Experience with spray foam rigs, trucks, or trailers is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain spray foam rigs according to company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on 2-ton box trucks, semi-trucks, and semi-trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Ensure all equipment is in safe and working condition.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
