Job summary

AMD Distribution, part of the IBP family, is seeking a Mechanic in Spring Valley, MN. The role focuses on building and maintaining spray foam rigs, servicing 2-ton box trucks and larger tractors and trailers, and diagnosing mechanical issues. A valid driver's license and basic tools are required; welding skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude; able to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Own basic tools; welding skills are a plus.
• Experience with spray foam rigs, trucks, or trailers preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain spray foam rigs according to company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on 2-ton box trucks, semi-trucks, and semi-trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Ensure all equipment is in safe and working condition.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
