Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a pipeline technician to inspect, maintain, repair and install pumping and mechanical equipment across our pipeline network, including pump stations and delivery facilities. Candidates should have 2–5 years in pipeline mechanics and be able to read mechanical blueprints and P&ID drawings.

You must be able to work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 lbs, drive to sites, and remain compliant with safety standards while using protective equipment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with 2–5 years of pipeline mechanical experience.
• Able to read mechanical blueprints, vendor drawings and P&ID drawings.
• Familiar with PLCs, electrical control circuits, VFDs and safety protocols.
• Computer literate with Windows, MS Word and Internet use.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing heavy physical labor outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair and install pumping and hydraulic equipment at pump stations and delivery facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, overhauls and reconditioning of pumps and related systems.
• Read and work with blueprints, vendor drawings and P&ID diagrams.
• Ensure safety equipment is used and stay compliant with industry standards.
• Carry out tests such as hose tests and set up necessary adjustments.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and operate across locations as needed.
