Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and associated facilities ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance.

Reported duties include inspecting assets, performing maintenance, and supporting the overall efficiency of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines, with emphasis on teamwork, safety, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, pumps, storage tanks, and related equipment in a reliable, compliant manner.
• Perform damage prevention activities including line patrols, locating pipelines, and marking line crossings.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and complete related documentation.
• Plan and prioritize tasks and coordinate with employees and contractors.
• Communicate with landowners, public agencies, contractors, utilities, and other pipeline operators.
• Participate in safety programs and follow policies.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
• Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
