Job summary

Genesis Energy, LLC is seeking a skilled Terminals/Pipeline Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot, repair and overhaul mechanical equipment across our Gulf Coast facilities. You will actively participate in safety meetings and collaborate with engineering teams to plan maintenance work.

Qualifications include 3+ years of mechanical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Some travel and a strong safety mindset are required to operate around industrial systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from a technical trade school or completion of an apprenticeship preferred.
• 3+ years of mechanical experience required, preferably in energy-related industry.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Knowledge of USCG/BSEE/DOT regulations preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in daily and monthly safety meetings.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment incl. engines, compressors, pumps, motors.
• Install mechanical seals on centrifugal equipment.
• Plan jobs related to maintenance and replacement of mechanical equipment.
• Interact with vendors, supervision, and engineering as needed.
• Provide training and technical support as required.
• Occasionally travel out of town for work assignments with overnight stays.
