Job summary

Hawaiian Host Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain macadamia nut and food processing equipment. The role requires welding/fabrication skills, a valid Hawaii driver's license, and 5+ years of relevant experience.

You will operate lifts and use diagnostic tools while following PM schedules and safety standards. Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, and installing control systems, with a need for flexibility in schedules and overtime as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five (5) years related experience.
• Two (2) years trade school or higher education and specialized training/certificates preferred.
• Must have welding/fabrication experience.
• Must be able to operate a boom and scissor lift.
• Must have a certificate for forklift and manlift operator.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Electrical skills 110/460 a plus.
• Valid Hawaii Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair macadamia nut, food processing, and husking machinery/equipment.
• General facilities repairs as directed by the manager.
• Refer to drawings/diagrams/service manuals to install and maintain equipment.
• Inspect parts to detect defects and worn components; replace as needed.
• Troubleshoot machinery by observations and precision instruments.
• Follow PM program and lubricate/clean equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Service and calibrate instrumentation and control systems.
• Install sensing and control devices and wire/interconnect components.
• Request needed equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Follow safety standards and procedures; work overtime as needed.
• Attend regularly and be flexible with shifts.
