The Mechanical Technician II performs a variety of tasks, including:

1. Repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
2. Assisting mechanical engineers in developing mechanical and electro-mechanical designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies, and components.
3. Fabricating and assembling mechanical parts or assemblies, analyzing data, and recommending modifications to meet specifications.
4. Working from process sheets, diagrams, and drawings, making initial layouts, and using hand and power tools.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of work experience or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 20-30 lbs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow processes and written instructions.

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

• Secret Clearance.
• Soldering experience.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.

**Pay Range:** $46,680 - $74,687 annually. Salaries are determined based on various factors including skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
