Job summary

Silgan Containers Mfg Corp is looking for a 24-hour shift coating equipment operator to manage coating equipment during the night shift (6PM to 6AM). The position pays between $28.54 and $29.78 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for overtime and a hiring bonus of $1,000.

The ideal candidate will maintain coating equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure a clean workspace. A high school diploma and experience in manufacturing are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, adjust, change over, and wash up coating equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and quality problems, determine necessary repairs and restore equipment to service.
• Maintain production and change-over records as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Report unusual events, accidents, damage, and emergencies immediately to supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

24‑hour shift coating equipment operator (6PM – 6AM shift, 4 days on/4 days off).

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay: $28.54 to $29.78 per hour depending on experience, plus $0.80 per hour shift differential (6PM – 6AM). Overtime is available. Hiring bonus of $1,000 paid in two installments ($500 after 80‑day probation, and $500 after completion of 6 months).

• Set up, operate, maintain, adjust, change over, and wash up coating equipment.
