Job summary

Patriot Advertising Sourcing Solutions in Midland seeks a Mechanical Technician to maintain pumps, motors and related equipment. The role operates on a 7on/7off, 12‑hour rotating shift and includes a $10,000 sign‑on bonus plus location incentives.

Safety and regulatory compliance are emphasized throughout daily tasks. You will perform preventative and remedial maintenance, read manuals, and coordinate with contractors to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training preferred.
• 3+ years mechanical experience required.
• 5+ years gas-fired, engine-driven compressor experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with reciprocating engines and components required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, codes and regulations.
• Basic math and computer skills (MS Word/Excel) required.
• Effective professional communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance of centrifugal pumps and electric motors.
• Maintenance on other mechanical equipment such as valves and compressors.
• Maintenance and repair of reciprocating engines and components.
• Assist with equipment replacement and startup activities.
• Participate in training and safety compliance meetings.
• Ensure regulatory record keeping and reporting.
• Coordinate with area supervisor to minimize downtime.
• Engage in cross training to develop broader skills.
