Job summary

Patriot Advertising Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical equipment to maintain high performance and safety.

This role involves routine maintenance of pumps, motors, valves, and related systems, plus training and safety compliance activities. Must meet requirements of the company's qualification program and work with supervision as needed. Indoor/outdoor industrial environment with physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in mechanical environment preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of mechanical experience.
• Minimum 5+ years gas-fired, engine-driven compressor experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of reciprocating engines and components.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to read and understand manuals, reports and codes.
• Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional demeanor.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of centrifugal pumps and electric motors (bearings, seals, alignments, couplings, etc.).
• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment including valves, air compressors, actuators.
• Service reciprocating engines and associated components.
• Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves and other equipment, including foundation work and startup.
• Participate in safety training, process safety reviews and regulatory compliance meetings.
• Complete time and regulatory reports accurately.
• Coordinate with Area Supervisor to minimize downtime and optimize workload.
• Operate and supervise contractors for specialty services as needed.
• Train others to learn mechanical duties and safe work practices.
• Adhere to company and industry standards and safety regulations.
