Summary:

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for installing various components and assembling our hydrogen-producing and distribution equipment. Some components are heavy and need a forklift to position them for assembly. Some components are light and can be installed by hand. Precision measuring, precision layout, and component mounting/assembly are the primary functions of this job. Components installed include electric motors, pumps, pulleys & belts, compressors, condenser tanks, storage vessels, filters, cooling system components, and various valve technologies. Electrical controls and panels are also installed.

Experience and Abilities:

• 1-3 + years of high-end mechanical work experience.
• Hands-on skills and high-end knowledge of hand tools, electrical tools, and associated equipment.
• Strong precision measuring and layout skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clean and organized tools/work area skills.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and sketches.
• Ability to use verbal instruction in lieu of formal drawings.
• Ability to maintain production pace with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain a "clean" laboratory-type working environment at all times.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
