Job summary

Princeton Management in Southfield, MI seeks a skilled Mechanical Technician with experience in residential HVAC installations and service. You will install, start-up, troubleshoot, and repair A/C and furnace systems, read diagrams, and ensure safety and code compliance.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented team players with strong communication and problem-solving skills; valid driver's license and clean driving record required; compensation is based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, start-ups, troubleshoot and repair residential air conditioner and furnace systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related problems in residential HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair air conditioners, furnaces, thermostats, ductwork components, and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before system failure occurs.
• Replace defective parts, components, and system controls as needed.
• Verify proper refrigerant levels, airflow, gas pressure, and electrical connections.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety regulations, company standards, and applicable codes.
