The Mechanical Technician is responsible for safely performing mechanical repairs, replacing, and/or adjusting heavy industrial equipment such as fans, pumps, gear drives, compressors, etc. Troubleshoot equipment for proper performance and repair, as necessary. Support and participate in the safety, environmental, and quality goals of the plant. This position is part of the Maintenance department reporting directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.
Based on the results of the Tronox MechanicalMaintenance Skills Test and prior relevant experience, this position offers an hourly rate ranging from $31.78entry level to $40.42 with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
