LubeZone in Brookshire, TX is seeking a Mechanical Technician to own the bay, perform same-day repairs, and drive our service truck to customer sites. Earn $18–$22 per hour with uncapped incentives and paid on book time. Training is provided at our Sweetwater shop; top techs earn extra bonuses for hours billed.

We offer full-time or part-time roles with no overnights, a safety‑moc policy, and comprehensive benefits. Driver’s license required and ability to lift 50 lbs. is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a mechanical technician (diesel, heavy-duty, or automotive).
• Valid driver's license to operate the service truck on customer sites.
• FMCSA inspection capabilities and OSHA safety standards knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Perform same-day repairs in shop or on customer sites with company service truck.
• Identify and fix brakes, wheel seals, bearings, air leaks, A/C and electrical issues; tires and inspections.

Overview

Brookshire | $18 to $22/hr + Uncapped Mechanical Incentive | Full-Time or Part-Time | No Overnights | Driver's License Required

Tired of waiting on parts, chasing comebacks, and watching the clock? At LubeZone, we fix it, finish it, and send it back down the highway the same day. Our Brookshire shop needs a Mechanical Technician who can own the bay, hit the road, and get paid for every hour of book time they crush.

Get Paid for What You Fix

• $20.00/hr starting pay, guaranteed no matter how busy the shop gets
• Earn 10% to 16% of every labor hour you bill, and each new tier pays back to hour one
• Paid on book time. Beat the clock and keep the credit

Responsibilities

The Work

Same-day repairs on the lighter side of heavy-duty, in the shop and on site in our company service truck: brakes, wheel seals and bearings, air leaks and airbags, A/C and electrical, tires, forced regens, and DOT and trailer inspections. No engine teardowns. No bodywork.

Coming from automotive with some diesel experience? We'll train you at our Sweetwater shop.

Qualifications

What You Need

• A valid driver's license. You'll be driving our service truck to customer sites, so this one is a must
• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a mechanical technician (diesel, heavy-duty, or automotive)
• At least some hands-on diesel or semi-truck experience
• Working knowledge of air brakes, wheel seals and bearings, and proper torque procedures
• Working knowledge of A/C systems, electrical, tires, PM services, and diagnostic equipment
• Able to perform inspections to FMCSA standards
• Texas Commercial Inspector Certification, or the ability to get it
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Basic computer skills for work orders
• A self-starter who communicates clearly with customers and management
• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and stand, bend, or kneel for long periods
• Able to work various shift schedules

What Puts You Ahead

• Semi-truck and trailer repair experience
• ASE certification
• Experience with forced regens, heavy-duty disc brakes, and airbag suspension
• Mobile or on-site fleet repair experience
• Experience completing DOT inspection paperwork
