Bio‑Rad is looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Systems Technician to support its global organization. You will be part of the innovative Mechanical Engineering Team developing complex solutions for cutting‑edge life science instrument systems. We need a proven technical troubleshooter who gets excited about pushing the boundaries of medical diagnostics, is highly analytical, and sees the big picture needed to evolve a concept into an instrument.
You will report directly to the Head of Mechanical Engineering and be part of a larger multi‑disciplinary R&D team. Come join us and be a key player in our next innovative instrument. You will work with a diverse engineering team on optical and fluidic systems (including droplet‑based digital PCR). This work will span from the research stage through product launch. At our Pleasanton R&D center, you can have a big company impact while working at a small, nimble and dynamic site.
This position must be based in Pleasanton, CA and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

The estimated hourly range for this position is $38.75 to $53.27 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
