Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a Research Associate I to execute laboratory experiments, prepare pilots, and document results under supervision in Irvine, CA. You will analyze data, flag anomalies, and collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot issues while maintaining meticulous notebooks and adhering to quality standards.
Requirements include a B.S. in a life science field and 0–2 years of lab experience, with proficiency in Excel and attention to detail.
The Research Associate I, will spend the day executing laboratory experiments in support of sustaining and product support activities, following established protocols under the guidance of senior scientists. They prepare pilots, operate standard lab equipment, and document results in real time, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Throughout the day, they analyze and compile data, flag any anomalies, and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues. They also maintain detailed lab notebooks and contribute to improving routine processes, while supporting multiple ongoing projects of limited scope and complexity.
Location: This position is based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,310 - $77,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
