Job summary

Kalmar is seeking a Mechanical Engineering student to join our Product Development team for a 10-12 week Summer Internship. You will develop and support mechanical systems for truck components and assemblies, with focus on meeting global customer needs and regulatory requirements.

You'll work on 3D modelling in Catia, analyze design changes, and collaborate across functions to implement solutions. Junior or higher in a Mechanical Engineering program preferred; High School diploma required,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering; Junior or higher strongly preferred.
• 3D modelling experience; Catia preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new truck components and assemblies.
• Process Engineering change requests and implement design changes.
• According to customer demands, choose design solutions, materials, and components.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
