Job summary

Kalmar is offering a 10-12 week Summer Internship in an international leading company. You will develop and support mechanical systems for current projects in the Product Development team, designing subsystems to meet global customer needs and internal requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Junior or higher preferred). You will gain real-world manufacturing experience and interact with a diverse, global team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering field. Junior or higher, strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required.
• Proficient in Google suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Slides, Google Drive and Calendar).

Responsibilities

• Develop new truck components and assemblies.
• Process Engineering change requests and implement design changes.
• According to customer demands, choose design solutions, materials, and components.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
