Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City is seeking an Experienced Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer to join the Air Vehicle Engineering team on the BDS programs. This position focuses on modifications and upgrades for Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers programs.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years of experience in mechanical system design, and knowledge of fuels/hydraulic/ECS systems; on-site work and opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of mechanical system design experience.
• Practical experience with Fuels, Hydraulic Systems or ECS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment
• Lead the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers
• Perform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
• Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems
• Prepare proposal and new business development efforts
• Work with test program management for work estimation and intake process
• Delegate tasks to design team and provide supervision to junior engineers.
