Job summary
SpaceX is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer, Mechanical to handle technical points of contact and support manufacturing challenges. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM field and at least 1 year of relevant experience. You will work on ensuring components are manufacturable and assist in supplier management, all while fostering innovation and technical excellence. The position is based in Woodinville, WA and requires onsite presence, aiming to drive continuous improvement in the supply base.
Qualifications
1+ years of manufacturing, supply chain, or quality experience.
Knowledge of production part approval process (PPAP) and quality processes.
Demonstrated ability to make timely risk-based decisions.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical point of contact to solve supplier challenges.
Own outsourced parts conducting design for manufacturing reviews.
Validate supplier corrective actions to ensure effectiveness.
