Job summary

FourSeasons Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee HVAC and plumbing installation and renovation projects across East Tennessee and Chattanooga regions.

The role requires leadership, proactive coordination with subcontractors, and a focus on safety, schedule, and profitability. You will act as the primary client liaison, manage day-to-day activities on multiple sites, and ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and codes.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and schematics.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification required; OSHA 30-Hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day and primary company point of contact for assigned projects.
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise project work to maintain schedule and profitability.
• Maintain daily logs and safety reports; attend project meetings with documentation.
• Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships; ensure work complies with plans and codes.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure contracted scopes are executed.

Position Location:

This position will be based around the Middle Tennessee area and will report to the Project Manager.

Position Summary:

The Mechanical Superintendent oversees HVAC and plumbing installation and renovation projects for commercial and institutional clients in the East Tennessee and Chattanooga regions. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality work is completed on schedule and within scope, while also managing customer relations, communication, and profitability. Serving as both a coordinator and a client liaison, the Mechanical Superintendent plays a key role in fostering strong relationships between the company, contractors, and clients, acting as the primary point of contact in day-to-day interactions.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented team member who demonstrates accountability, adaptability, and a strong commitment to the FourSeasons Core Values.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Act as the day-to-day and primary company point of contact for assigned projects
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise project work & deliveries to maintain schedule and profitability
• Ensure that daily logs and safety reports are completed and submitted
• Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Attend project meetings with proper documentation
• Maintain the project schedule to ensure timely completion of the project
• Ensure project work is in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and codes
• Coordinate to confirm that subcontractors are fully executing contracted scopes of work

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in the construction industry with proven success managing multiple active job sites and projects
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and schematics
• Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions under pressure
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management
• At least 8 years of hands‑on experience in the construction industry with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems to oversee work and ensure correct installation and functionality
• Familiarity with ProCore or other related project management software
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: Based on experience and expertise.
