Job summary

The Bell Company is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead field teams on heavy industrial and institutional projects in the Maryland region. The ideal candidate will supervise mechanical and advanced plumbing systems, monitor costs and schedules, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Relocation flexibility is available for project needs, and the company offers ESOP stock, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

  • 5 years’ experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction.
  • Experience supervising mechanical and advanced plumbing systems.
  • Background in supervising craft in a self-perform environment.
  • Experience monitoring production and controlling costs.

THE REGIONAL OFFICE IS LOCATED IN HANOVER, MD WITH THE INITIAL ASSIGNMENT LOCATED IN POOLESVILLE . THE RATE OF PAY IS $90-$130k YEAR.

THE OPPORTUNITY: Mechanical Superintendent

PAY RANGE:

$90-$130k /YEAR FOR MECHANICAL SUPERINTENDENT

Job Specific Requirements:

The ideal candidate for our SR Superintendent role will meet the following requirements:

  • Must have supervised craft in a self-perform environment.
  • The candidate must have 5 years’ experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction with a background in supervising mechanical and advanced plumbing systems.
  • Past project size should exceed $5 million
  • Must demonstrate experience and capability for monitoring production and controlling costs.
  • Familiar with management controls (i.e., schedules, cost control, procurement, and quality/safety) facilitated during project execution.
  • Past personal experience as a crafts person in the mechanical trades is an advantage and previous/past professional licensing is a plus.

Certifications:

  • OSHA 30 hour required prior to start date (company will provide the online course at no cost to employee).
