Job summary

The Bell Company is a large employee-owned mechanical contractor delivering projects across the East Coast. The Plumbing Superintendent role is based in Maryland with the regional office in Hanover and an initial assignment in Poolesville.

You will oversee mechanical plumbing work on hospitals, laboratories and large industrial sites, ensuring safety, quality and adherence to schedules and budgets. A strong background in heavy industrial construction and piping is required.

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in heavy industrial and institutional construction.
  • Background in mechanical process piping, advanced process piping and HVAC.
  • Past projects exceed $5 million in scope.
  • Experience monitoring production and controlling costs.
  • Familiar with schedules, procurement, quality and safety management.
  • Past experience as a crafts person is a plus.

THE REGIONAL OFFICE IS LOCATED IN HANOVER, MD. WITH THE INITIAL ASSIGNMENT LOCATED IN POOLESVILLE. THE RATE OF PAY IS $90-130k / YEAR.

THE OPPORTUNITY: Mechanical Plumbing Superintendent

PAY RANGE:

$90-$130k / YEAR FOR MECHANICAL PLUMBING SUPERINTENDENT

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Must have supervised craft in a self-perform environment.
  • The candidate must have 5 years’ experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction with a background in mechanical process piping, advanced process piping and HVAC systems.
  • Past project size should exceed $5 million
  • Must demonstrate experience and capability for monitoring production and controlling costs.
  • Familiar with management controls (i.e., schedules, cost control, procurement, and quality/safety) facilitated during project execution.
  • Must have supervised craft in a self-perform environment.
  • Past personal experience as a crafts person in the mechanical trades is required and previous/past professional licensing is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial and Institutional Mechanical construction.
  • A work effort to complete all job tasks professionally.
