Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead large field projects across multiple sites, including Cheyenne, WY. You will drive execution from mobilization to turnover, optimize labor, material flow, and subcontractor coordination, and mentor Superintendents and craft teams.

You’ll influence safety, quality, and productivity while leveraging in-house fabrication and diverse capabilities to deliver complex mechanical and plumbing projects.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive mechanical, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, or industrial construction experience.
• Proven success leading complex projects with multiple crews and field leaders.
• Deep expertise in labor planning, scheduling, productivity, quality, cost, and project execution.
• Strong judgment and decision-making in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own field execution from preconstruction and mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Turn project strategy into action across labor, schedule, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Lead and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and high-performing craft teams.
• Partner with Project Management and Operations to solve problems before they impact the field.
• Leverage prefabrication, technology, and planning to improve productivity and execution.
• Set safety, quality, accountability, and craftsmanship standards.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, GCs, inspectors, vendors, and trade partners.

Mechanical Superintendent

Abilene, TX-Phoenix, AZ-Denver, CO-Cheyenne, WY

$110,000 to $165,000/year + Annual Incentive Bonus Eligibility

We are looking to fill the following positions within Piping, Plumbing and Sheet Metal trades:

• Operations Superintendent
• General Superintendent
• Project Superintendent
