Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead large, complex mechanical and plumbing projects across multiple sites including Abilene, TX and surrounding areas. You will guide field execution from mobilization through turnover, influence labor planning, safety, and quality, and build strong teams of supers, foremen, and crafts.

The role offers in-house fabrication resources and opportunities to shape execution strategy while mentoring the next generation of field leaders within RK

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive mechanical, plumbing, piping, sheet metal or industrial construction experience.
• Proven success leading complex projects, multiple crews, and field leaders.
• Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own field execution from preconstruction and mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Turn project strategy into action across labor, schedule, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Lead and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and craft teams.
• Partner with Project Management and Operations to solve problems before they impact the field.
• Leverage prefabrication, technology, and planning to improve productivity and execution.
• Set the standard for safety, quality, accountability, and craftsmanship.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, GCs, inspectors, vendors, and trade partners.

Mechanical Superintendent

Abilene, TX-Phoenix, AZ-Denver, CO-Cheyenne, WY

$110,000 to $165,000/year + Annual Incentive Bonus Eligibility

We are looking to fill the following positions within Piping, Plumbing and Sheet Metal trades:

• Operations Superintendent
• General Superintendent
• Project Superintendent
