Zusammenfassung

SPIE Turbomachinery on Block 17 is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to organize and lead on-site maintenance operations for oil and gas installations. You will manage technicians, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to HSE rules, work permits and standard industry procedures during preparation and performance.

Requirements include 5–10 years in oil and gas maintenance, knowledge of turbine and compressor equipment, and English language proficiency; French/Portuguese are a plus.

Organises on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility.
With his teams assists specialists on the organisation and coordination of the work.
Ensures that the COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected, especially procedures related to Work Permits, as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation and performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility.
Monitors the functioning of utilities and equipment placed under his responsibility.
Takes part in daily, weekly and coordination meetings on site.
Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in this himself.
Manages the team of technicians directly under his responsibility.

Methods

Identifies, in the preparatory stage of maintenance works, any delicate operations and ensures that proper studies of the risks involved are carried out beforehand.
Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts.
Suggests improvements and requests modifications.

Quality Assurance

Verifies the quality of his teams’ interventions by frequent on-site checks.
Ensures that the members of his teams have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures.

Perfil

5 to 10 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations.
Basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
Specific Professional Knowledge

CMMS: SAP R3 is an advantage.
Mechanical: turbines (LM2500, FRAME V, MARS/CENTAUR, SOLAR, etc.) – compressors (THERMODYN) – pumps (FLOWSERVE, SULZER).
Electrical: high voltage cells, generators, UPS.
Instrumentation: Nothing special.

Other Requirements

Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams.
Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others.
Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site.
Languages: English necessary, French and Portuguese an advantage.
