As a Mechanical Spacecraft Technician, you will play a vital role in the assembly,integration, and testing of spacecraft mechanical systems. You will collaborate withengineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to build spacecraft hardware from earlydevelopment through environmental testing, flight readiness, and production ramp. This role may be leveled from Technician I to Technician III based on experience, skills, anddemonstrated proficiency.
Technician I: Develops proficiency in spacecraft mechanical assembly, hardwarehandling, documentation, and inspection while working under regular guidance. Typicallyhas 0–1 years of relevant experience or equivalent technical training.
Technician II: Independently performs a broad range of mechanical assembly, integration,inspection, and test activities. Troubleshoots common issues and supports processimprovements and peer training. Typically has 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Technician III: Performs complex mechanical assembly, integration, troubleshooting, andtesting with limited supervision. Serves as a technical resource for other technicians andsupports development hardware, environmental testing, flight readiness, and productionramp. Typically has 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated proficiency.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
The person hired will have access to information and items controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the ITAR, you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (i.e., current Green Card holder), lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
