Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Service Manager to direct daily work orders to technicians and oversee service execution with a strong emphasis on safety and process discipline.

You will supervise technical staff, ensure OSHA compliance, and support sales with quotes and product lookups while maintaining branch performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires solid leadership and hands-on fleet knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience assigning service work orders to technicians.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and able to learn AS400, SAP, BTN.
• Federal Annual Brake Inspector certification preferred.
• Medium/Heavy Truck ASE certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of state/federal OSHA regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Receives, creates, assigns, and monitors all service work orders to technicians.
• Responsible for the productivity of technicians, focusing on monthly revenue goals.
• Assist branch and operations manager with employee records, DOT Med Cards, ASE/TIA certifications, forklift safety, and evaluations.
• Provide sales staff support through quotes, product lookups, and handling customer requests.
• Manage customer scheduled fleet work and analyze tire wear as needed.
• Assist with warehouse duties including inventory and barcode scanning.
• Conduct daily safety and organization checks of Warehouse, Service Bays/Trucks, and Equipment.
