Job summary

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background and knowledge of seals, pumps, and related systems. Strong communication and documentation skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, and support systems.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, data entry, and inspection reporting.
• Knowledge of issues affecting distribution, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
• Technical sales experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Generate seal proposals, presentations, and sales contracts while supporting the outside seals team with mechanical seals.
• Assist customers in improving equipment reliability and increasing MTBR of sealed equipment.
• Communicate expected delivery dates and expedite orders as necessary
• Identify opportunities to expand product base within every customer account
• Review customer operations for improving business process opportunities
• Continuously update all customers on company product capabilities, services, and enhancements
• Liaising between the company, vendors and customers for up-to-date information on pricing, service, and other issues
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
