Indorama is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer in Port Neches, TX for a 12+ month project. The role oversees mechanical integrity of fixed and rotating equipment, including pumps, turbines, gear boxes, and exchangers.

You will manage MOC, participate in turnarounds, and lead root cause analyses to improve uptime. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 2–5 years in petrochemical reliability, and experience with predictive maintenance and reliability-focused analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering REQUIRED.
• 2–5 years mechanical maintenance and/or reliability experience in a petrochemical or refining facility preferred;
• Experience with predictive maintenance and condition monitoring (e.g., vibration, thermal) desired.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance as it relates to mechanical integrity and related documentation.
• Perform periodic inspections and assist in maintenance, modification, or improvements of equipment.
• Lead root cause investigations for equipment failures and provide repair recommendations.
• Collaborate with operations to maintain equipment in excellent working condition.
• Manage engineering support for inspections and turnarounds and support MOC activities.
