Precision Castparts is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to maximize safety, quality and productivity in daily plant equipment maintenance. The role focuses on safety design, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to equipment availability and throughput.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, have formal training in preventive/predictive maintenance, and 5+ years in heavy industrial manufacturing with HV electrical

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Formal training or experience with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
• Maintenance Engineering or Maintenance Supervisor position with a minimum of 3-5 years proven experience preferred.
• 5+ years experience in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment; experience with high voltage, electrical and power supply and lead on project upgrades in a manufacturing facility.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement mechanical safety improvements for equipment and facilities.
• Investigate mechanical safety issues and corrective actions.
• Develop, document, and improve preventive maintenance programs to boost equipment availability and throughput.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment failures and loss of production; on-call support.
• Analyze production delay data to establish/modify preventive maintenance tasks; drive continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and review failure/root cause analysis reports and determine corrective actions.
• Develop cost justifications for improvement projects and corrective actions.
• Develop work orders to detail maintenance improvements; follow-up to ensure completion.
• Coordinate outside contractor work to minimize cost and production impact.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures, training, and skill development for electricians and technicians.
• Determine and install performance metrics to promote long-term improvements.
• Provide support for problem resolution to accelerate improvements and strengthen relationships.
• Perform Project Engineering duties.
