Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to identify and lead improvements in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing facility. You will analyze downtime, lead RCA/RCFA, design tooling and equipment upgrades, and collaborate across Maintenance, Operations, Quality, Safety, and suppliers to boost reliability, safety, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5–7 years of experience, strong CAD skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; mechanical preferred.
• 5–7 years in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment design and operation.
• Proficiency with CAD/engineering design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor).
• Experience with CMMS, downtime tracking, RCA/RCFA, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze downtime and maintenance data to identify losses and improve uptime.
• Utilize downtime systems to drive reliability improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and improve reliability processes, maintenance strategies, and capital plans.
• Work with OEMs and vendors to implement improvements and document changes.
• Provide hands-on support during overhauls, repairs, and installations.
• Lead RCA/RCFA investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Design prototypes, tooling, fixtures, and modifications for process improvements.
• Support capital projects from concept to closeout.
