Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team in planning and executing equipment modifications, preventive, and corrective maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.

You will monitor KPIs, drive reliability, manage budget and training, engage suppliers, and foster a safe, productive environment that meets performance standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic, preferably in Packaging.
• Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement.
• Lean environment experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and Maintenance Software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, plans and issues work orders to shift team members for maintenance tasks.
• Coordinates maintenance resources and supports capital and continuous improvement projects.
• Reviews equipment operation with staff to identify maintenance issues across Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Monitors KPIs to improve plant operations, OEE, and maintenance problem resolution.
• Tracks and improves Maintenance department KPIs.
• Performs routine inspections to improve reliability of production equipment.
• Engages suppliers/contractors for timely, cost-effective procurement of maintenance materials/services.
• Drives lean problem solving and team development to meet productivity targets.
