Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the plant's maintenance and equipment reliability activities. You will supervise the maintenance team, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate resources to maximize safety, quality, and production efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of experience in industrial automation, PLCs, hydraulics, and related systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic, preferably in the Packaging Industry.
Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles including managing teams.
Previous Lean environment experience preferred.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification a plus.
Exceptional leadership and proven team-building skills.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Microsoft Office Proficiency: Upkeep Maintenance Software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees, plans and issues work orders to appropriate shift team members for maintenance implementation.
Prepares and coordinates maintenance resources and capital/continuous improvement projects.
Reviews operation of equipment with appropriate personnel to identify maintenance issues in Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity and Customer Satisfaction.
Reviews KPIs to improve OEE and maintenance problem resolution.
Tracks, analyzes and improves the Maintenance department’s KPIs.
Conducts routine inspections to identify and resolve issues to improve reliability of production equipment.
Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers and contractors for timely, cost-effective procurement of maintenance materials and services.
Engages employees in problem resolution using Lean Manufacturing techniques as needed.
Fosters a positive working environment and drives the Maintenance team to meet productivity targets and standards.
Ability to fabricate and modify equipment as necessary.
Ensures regulatory compliance with city, county, state agencies.
Monitors and reviews Maintenance expenses monthly.
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and service schedules.
Assists in recruitment of Maintenance personnel.
Ensures Maintenance employees are trained and identifies training gaps.
