Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify mechanical components, assemblies, and systems against drawings, tolerances, and safety standards.

This role involves identifying nonconformances, documenting findings, and supporting timely corrective actions across production stages. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in mechanical inspection, strong attention to detail, and experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and welding-related procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding or quality-control certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of mechanical inspection or quality-control experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiar with standard inspection tools and measurement techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; stand, bend, and reach.
• Able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components and assemblies at in-process and final stages.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and configurations using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Review drawings and specifications for compliance.
• Document inspection findings and corrective actions clearly.
• Collaborate with production teams to address issues.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and process improvements.
• Maintain complete and traceable quality records.
• Monitor adherence to welding procedures and machine settings.
• Perform in-process inspections to identify and correct issues early.
• Enforce safety protocols in manufacturing.
