This integrated model provides employees the opportunity to support projects throughout the complete lifecycle, from concept and design through manufacturing, installation, startup, operation, optimization, modernization, and long-term system support.

Job Role

The Quality Inspector is responsible for verifying that mechanical components, assemblies, and systems are built in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role involves inspecting fabricated and assembled parts, identifying nonconformances, and ensuring that all products meet required tolerances, functionality, and safety requirements.

  • Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and weld gauges to validate tolerances.
  • Document inspection findings, deviations, and corrective actions accurately and clearly.
  • Collaborate with production teams to communicate issues and ensure timely corrections.
  • Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and support process improvements to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Maintain complete and traceable quality records according to internal policies and industry standards.
  • Monitor adherence to welding procedures, including material usage, techniques, and machine settings.
  • Perform in-process inspections during manufacturing to identify and correct issues early.
  • Enforce and follow safety protocols throughout the manufacturing environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in welding or quality control preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, or manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with standard inspection tools and measurement techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective documentation and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of fabrication and assembly processes (including welding, machining, or fabrication as applicable)
  • Basic computer literacy for reporting and data entry.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
  • Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools accurately and safely.
