Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector - Welding to inspect welded components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with drawings and quality standards.

The role collaborates with welders, engineers, and production staff to identify defects and support continuous improvement within the welding department. Responsibilities include dimensional checks, visual inspection, and NDT where applicable, as well as documenting findings and supporting root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality inspection or welding in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of welding symbols and standards (ANSI, AWS, ISO).
• Experience with GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SMAW is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welded components and assemblies for compliance with drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, and NDT when applicable.
• Identify weld defects such as cracks, porosity, undercutting, and incomplete fusion.
• Document inspection findings, deviations, and corrective actions clearly.
• Assist in root cause analysis and support process improvements in welding.
