Job summary

icon Mechanical, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Project Manager II for its Raleigh, NC office. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in mechanical construction and will manage all phases of projects to maintain standards, budget, deadlines, and communications.

Responsibilities include coordinating documents, safety oversight, subcontractor management, schedule and cost control, and building strong client relationships onsite.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Mechanical Construction is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or proven working experience in Construction Management.
• Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems, building products and standards.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, organize and distribute contract documents and submittals to the team.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinator to log construction documents and closeout items.
• Ensure jobsite safety compliance and conduct site inspections.
• Oversee field installation of mechanical, plumbing and specialty systems.
• Manage subcontractor performance and contracts, changes and DBE/MBE requirements.
• Develop and manage project schedules and weekly work plans.
• Coordinate labor, material, and equipment resources.
• Manage project financial performance and cash flow reporting.
• Oversee project accounting activities and invoicing.
• Build and maintain client relationships with senior leadership onsite.
