Job summary

icon Mechanical in Granite City, IL is seeking a Project Manager I to support our mechanical construction projects, coordinating safety, contracts, schedules, and field execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of PM experience in mechanical construction and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency with MS Office, Viewpoint, ProCore, Bluebeam, and project scheduling tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of PM experience in mechanical construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems and construction standards.
• Experience with project controls, scheduling, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support safety inspections and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Review and distribute contract documents, drawings, schedules to the team.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and monitor project schedules.
• Oversee field installation of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Assist with fabrication planning, budgets, and procurement.
• Support scheduling, resources, and cost controls to meet milestones.
