Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an HVAC Estimator/Project Manager to lead estimation and management of commercial HVAC projects from bid to completion. You will leverage construction experience and strong communication to deliver accurate costs, manage budgets, and ensure project execution.

The role requires coordinating with design teams, pricing equipment, preparing proposals, and supervising field progression while promoting safety and quality across all activities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit replacement leads, contact customers, set up site reviews, and evaluate replacement pricing.
• Evaluate system effectiveness for proposed design/build enhancements and coordinate with design/engineering teams.
• Provide engineering costs where pertinent.
• Obtain equipment and material pricing for individual jobs.
• Construct replacement/job costs and estimates.
• Formulate HVAC proposals and communicate with customers; answer questions.
• Coordinate signed work with other project managers and schedules.
• Supervise job execution and coordinate with ITL divisions.
• Schedule large project events such as crane lifts, factory start-ups, and owner trainings.
• Compile and distribute close-out documents, as-builts, and warranty papers.
• Ensure timely billing and communicate service opportunities to ITL service division.
• Promote safety and core values.
• Prepare for pre-construction turnover and wrap-up meetings.
• Manage submittals for buy-out and assist in GC/Subs execution.
• Maintain logs for RFIs and CORs and keep drawings updated.

Secondary Duties:

• Participation in pre-construction turnover and wrap-up meetings
• Prepare, review, distribute and track status of submittals for completing the "buy-out" process
• Assist in subcontract (GC/Subs) execution as required
• Compile and distribute closeout documentation with accurate "As-builts"
• Keep accurate logs for RFI's and COR's pertaining to the assigned projects
• Keep up to date drawings distributed to the field and office for all projects

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of HVAC experience
• Project management experience (preferred)
