Job summary

G.E. Mechanical LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Mechanical Systems to lead cost estimation, scheduling, and coordination of HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing projects in New Jersey.

You will drive bid development, manage resources, and ensure projects meet budgetary targets. Ideal candidates have a degree in construction management or engineering and 2+ years in PM or estimating within mechanical construction, with strong attention to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 2 years’ experience in project management and/or estimating in construction, mechanical, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Quantity take-offs, cost estimating, bid reviews and document management for commercial/industrial HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Create competitive, accurate estimates to meet margins and targets.
• Develop and track mechanical project schedules for effective management.
