G.E. Mechanical, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Mechanical Systems in Vineland, NJ. You will manage quantity take-offs, cost estimating, bid reviews, and scheduling for HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and other mechanical projects.

The role involves developing schedules, coordinating resources within budget, interfacing with team members, and generating reports to support project delivery. A degree in Construction Management or Engineering and 2 years of PM/estimating experience

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 2 years' experience in project management and/or estimating in construction, mechanical, or related industry.
• HVAC and plumbing estimating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quantity take-offs, cost estimating, bid reviews and document management for HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Creating competitive estimates to achieve margin and financial targets.
• Coordinate pricing data during proposal development for HVAC/plumbing projects.
• Follow-up with potential clients to finalize work agreements.
• Schedule and manage resources (HVAC/R / plumbing) within budgetary limits.
• Develop, coordinate and track mechanical project schedules for effective management.
• Supervise team members to ensure estimates and deliveries align with plans.
• Identify resources, assign workloads and manage schedules for timely delivery.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.
• Process client invoicing promptly.
• Generating leads and new customers.
• Ensure team works in compliance with company policies and procedures.
