Job summary

RQ Construction LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and day-to-day management of the mechanical scope on DoD projects focused in the Jacksonville, FL area. Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants located outside the area.

You will work with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance while meeting government requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred; HS diploma/GED required.
• Five+ years of experience managing mechanical scope on large projects ($5M+).
• Experience with military/government or Design-Build projects preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM software and Primavera P6; Microsoft Office suite expected.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and day-to-day management of the mechanical scope.
• Collaborate with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project team.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget, and contract/government compliance.
• Travel to project sites as required to support field activities.
