Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the mechanical scope of work on assigned projects. You will work with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure safe, efficient, on-schedule, and within-budget execution while meeting contract and government requirements.

The role emphasizes planning, day-to-day management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality facilities for military and government clients.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management; HS diploma acceptable with related experience.
• 5+ years managing mechanical scope on commercial or government construction projects valued at $5M+.
• Experience with military/government or Design-Build projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and BIM software; travel to project sites as needed.

• Oversee planning, coordination, and day-to-day management of the mechanical scope on assigned projects.
• Collaborate with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to meet safety, schedule, and budget goals.
• Ensure compliance with contract and government requirements; travel to job sites as needed.
