Job summary

AM Mechanical seeks a Mechanical Project Manager for the Summer of 2027. You will drive project performance from start to finish, coordinating with owners and design teams to deliver cost-efficient concepts and strong value engineering.

You will manage estimates, scheduling, safety, and progress reporting, ensuring quality and timely completion while aligning with company goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or related program.
• Graduating in 2026-2027 school year.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0.
• Prior construction internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in proposal meetings with the owner to review scope, discuss cost-saving ideas, and provide value engineering.
