Job summary

Yates Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects, including federal, advanced manufacturing, or data center work. You will serve as the client liaison, promote quality services, and manage subcontractors while steering major technical, cost, scheduling and performance decisions, with field construction oversight.

The role requires strong leadership to ensure safety, maintain profitability, and coordinate with architects, inspectors, and owners on project

Qualifications

• Experience leading large scale construction projects across multiple clients or sectors.
• Strong cost management and profitability focus on projects.
• Proven ability to develop and monitor project schedules and milestones.
• Ability to supervise field teams and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Experience reviewing cost reports and optimizing productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture on the project and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Control costs and maintain profitability for one or more projects.
• Manage field construction activity, engineering and field support.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, monitor production, ensure timely completion.
• Review cost reports and perform analyses to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Determine labor requirements and coordinate with management.
• Conduct regular project inspections and address safety concerns.
• Coordinate with architects, inspectors, and client representatives to resolve issues.
• Hold safety meetings and support supervision on safety improvements.
• Monitor purchasing and ensure timely delivery of quality materials at competitive costs.
• Lead meetings with project supervision to review progress and plan next steps.
• Ensure proper maintenance of construction equipment and oversee quality control.
